Advanced Reading and Writing D2

Dear all,

I trust everyone’s enjoying their long break and have plans for tomorrow’s festivities on the Mall. 

As you know, tomorrow your first drafts of either the expository or personal essays (remember: your choice) are due.  Let’s set the time for 1pm, so that everyone has the chance to get an early start on the 4th.

So, if you’ll please complete these tasks, everyone will be appreciative. 

1) If you’re writing a draft of an expository essay, please post it on umeid2a.  If you’re writing a draft of a personal essay, please post it on umei2b.

2) Please register yourself in our new chatroom on the blogroll.  We’ll be using this throughout the semester to do online writing workshops in real time.  Wednesday the 5th in class we’ll test the chat function, and I’ll give you instructions then on workshop criteria.

Have fun tomorrow.  Remember, if you have questions about the assignments, I’ll be checking in at our blog twice daily at 1pm and 9pm.
